Roundup of free creative resources

Somehow I seem to come across or find so many really useful free creative resources on the web, either by researching blog articles or by looking for resources for my design work. So I decided it was time to share them with you.

There are too many for just one article though and I find new ones all the time, so here’s the first collection (of many, hopefully):

Vecteezy
An index site of free vector graphics.

Flasheezy
Free Flash files and tutorials.

Stock.XCHNG
A site full of good free images.

CGTextures
A collection of free texture images.

ZenTextures
Also a collection of free texture images.

Dreamstime
This stock image library has a Free Images section.

iStockphoto
This stock image library releases a free image each week and a free vector graphic each month.

Mailchimp
Mailchimp is a popular email marketing company, but their site has a good collection of free resources to help you design HTML emails. There is a page of articles and guides, and a collection of HTML templates.

Smashing Magazine
A big design blog site with a huge collection of articles pointing you to quality freebies.

Tuts+ network
Each of the tutorial websites in this network has a ‘Freebies’ section full of articles about free resources. The websites cover Photoshop, Vector, Flash, Net, CGI, Audio, and After Effects.

Fuel Your Creativity
Another big design blog site with a big collection of articles pointing you to quality freebies.
