2 incredibly useful websites for agency freelancers

These are my top 2 websites for freelancing at agencies:
delicious

1. Delicious

This is a social bookmarking website where you can tag, save, manage and share web links. How’s it useful for freelancers? You can use it to access all your links/bookmarks from wherever you happen to be working. Before I discovered Delicious I was struggling to keep track of my links when I moved between agencies. Now, I can access them from any internet connected computer. Not only that but I can sort and tag them easily – it doesn’t matter how many I have, as I can search based on my own tags and notes. And it’s free to use.

2. Google Mail

OK, so not strictly a website as such, but a web application. If you only use Hotmail or Yahoo Mail this may not interest you. But, if you have more than one email address or your email provider’s webmail access isn’t very user-friendly, this is perfect. Access all your email accounts from one Google Mail account, from any internet connected computer. The best bit for me is that you can send emails out from any of your email accounts from that single Google Mail account. I heard about these benefits through reading lots of blog articles, such as 12 Reasons To Switch To Gmail on Just Creative Design, and now I’m loving it. It also features a built in calendar and RSS reader. Also free to use.
