This website was designed and created by Mark Bowley, a freelance graphic designer and the founder of CreativeAgencyFreelancing.com.

Theme

The website is run on the Wordpress blogging platform and uses the fantastic Thesis theme from DIY Themes.

Why did we choose Thesis?

Flexibility – We wanted to be able to create our own theme design without having to get involved in complicated coding. Being incredibly easy to adapt all we needed was some CSS knowledge to develop the default styles that it comes with.

SEO – Thesis is organised and optimised to be as SEO friendly as possible. Exactly what a resource site like ours needs so that new readers can find our content.

Community – When you purchase the theme you get access to an incredibly useful support forum, full of helpful and friendly users asking and answering each other’s support questions. There is also quite a community on Twitter.

Investment – Being a premium theme it does come at a price ($87). Given the features and the time it’s saved us, we think this is a worthwhile investment. You only make the payment once and get free upgrades for life, support from DIY Themes, access to the Thesis support forums and useful downloads to help customise your design.
